Get the most out of USSD Menu
1. View Balance - Prepaid/Postpaid
To view your account balances, active data bundles (prepaid only), data usage and expiry dates (prepaid only).
2. Credit Transfer
The credit transfer system is still available and works by sharing your available credit to another person's mobile.
Dial *888# and select Credit Transfer, follow the prompts and input the destination number and the desired credit transfer amount and press "send". You will receive a text confirmation message for the transfer.
3.- 5. Buy Bundles, Vodafone WiFi & Kia Orana Calling Cards
Purchase data packs and skip the queues on purchasing Vodafone WiFi vouchers and/or Kia Orana Calling card services. To purchase, select the option you want and ensure you have the sufficient charge amount available in your credit balance.
6. I Owe You (IOU)
Borrow $3 worth of credit, if your balance is less than $1. Note: When you top up again, the IOU balance will be deducted.
To "launch" your USSD menu, dial *888# and then press "call" button.
7. Call Me Back
This feature allows you to send a free text to any nominated lcoal mobile number notifying them to give you call back.
8. TXT to Support/Other Promotions
Vodafone promotions can be accessed via the USSD menu when available or activated. Keep an eye out for these promotions.
9. Other
You can find "My Info" here. This shows you your phone number and IMSI number.
Also, you will find the "Toggle Pay-as-you-go" - this feature allows you to control use of your remaining credit after an active data bundle is finished. By disabling this feature, your credit will not be used for pay as you go data, once your bundle is completed.
